The Protocol Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Further Education College in Hull to recruit a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Early Years.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional or Lecturer to inspire the next generation of childcare practitioners, delivering high-quality teaching and supporting learners to achieve their career ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Early Years and Childcare programmes.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
• Support students to achieve their qualifications and progression goals.
• Monitor learner attendance, achievement and overall development.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout teaching and learning.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Early Years, Childcare, Education or a related subject.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience delivering education within a Further Education, Higher Education or vocational setting.
• Strong industry knowledge of Early Years education and childcare practice.
• Excellent communication and learner engagement skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering CACHE, NCFE, T Level or Higher Education programmes.
• Previous industry experience within nurseries, schools or children's settings.
• Assessing and/or Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
